Dr. Duane D. H. Pitt is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with over 25 years of experience providing advanced spine care. His practice focuses on prevention, conservative medical management, and employing the latest surgical techniques for spine-related conditions. Dr. Pitt is committed to offering personalized care to his patients, using evidence-based approaches to restore function and improve quality of life.

Dr. Pitt’s distinguished career began with postdoctoral training in orthopaedic surgery, followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Southern California. Early in his career, he served as a clinical instructor of orthopaedics at the Center for Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at USC, where he trained future surgeons in cutting-edge spinal procedures.

During his military career, Dr. Pitt held several key leadership positions, including Chairman of the Occupational Health Working Group, Chief of Professional Services (Chief of Staff), Medical Group Commander, and Chief of Aerospace Medicine.

Professional Athletic Consultant

Dr. Pitt has extensive experience providing orthopedic care to collegiate and professional athletes. For over a decade, he served as one of the team physicians for Arizona State University Athletics. His expertise has also been sought by several professional sports teams, including the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Oakland A’s, Phoenix Suns, and San Francisco Giants, where he served as a medical consultant.
