Meet Dr. William J. Steele III

Dr. William J. Steele III is a board-certified neurosurgeon licensed in Texas. He focuses on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques for diseases of the spine and cares for patients with a wide range of spinal disorders.

Dr. Steele completed his neurosurgery residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, including a rotation at St. George’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom. His research fellowship focused on spinal cord injury and a novel method for wireless ventral stimulation of the cervical spinal cord.

He completed a clinical fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. His clinical interests include robotics, endoscopic spine surgery, and complex deformity, with experience in both conservative and surgical treatment options.
